Sri Lanka, Jan. 20 -- Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has saved USD300 million in foreign exchange for the year 2020, CPC chairman Sumith Wijesinghe told the COPE.

The Chairman of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) said so at the COPE meeting chaired by Prof. Charitha Herath met in Parliament to discuss the Special Audit Report on the storage and distribution of petroleum.

He further said that the government was able to take advantage of this due to the fall in the price of a barrel of crude oil last year and several other reasons.
