Srilanka, March 28 -- The Court of Appeal has announced that it will deliver its ruling on April 28 regarding the petition filed by former Minister Prasanna Ranaweera, who is seeking an order to prevent his arrest.

The petition was filed in connection with an incident involving the illegal deed and sale of government land in the Kelaniya area.

After reviewing the petition, the Court of Appeal scheduled the decision on whether to allow the hearing of Ranaweera's case.
