Srilanka, Feb. 24 -- The Colombo High Court has directed that certified copies of the original documents concerning the frozen assets of former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella and his family members be provided to them.
Previously, the court had issued orders to freeze various assets, including bank accounts and life insurance policies, as part of an ongoing investigation by the Bribery Commission.
Today, lawyers representing Rambukwella and his family submitted a request for the release of the original documents related to the frozen properties. In response, Judge Aditya Patabendige granted the request, ordering that certified copies of the relevant documents be handed over to the applicants.
