Sri Lanka, April 25 -- The Colombo Magistrate's Court has ordered that the case against former Minister Mervyn Silva be taken up again on June 30. Silva is a suspect in a long-standing case involving the unauthorized entry into the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation and allegedly behaving in a disorderly manner.

When the case was called today, Silva was not present in court. It was revealed that he is currently in remand custody.

The magistrate subsequently ordered that if he remains in custody by the next hearing date, he must be produced in court on June 30.
