Sri Lanka, May 16 -- Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya stated that the development of a country depends on the productive contribution its citizens make towards the nation.
The inauguration ceremony for the launch of the National Productivity Awards Competition 2025/2026 was held at the Temple Trees on Thursday (15), under the patronage of the Prime Minister.
During the event, the competition for the Education Sector was declared by the Prime Minister, while for the Public Sector by Industries and Enterprise Development Minister Sunil Handunnetti and for the Production and Services Sector by Asian Productivity Organisation's Secretary General Dr. Indra Pradhan Singhavithana.
