Srilanka, March 14 -- US Ambassador in Sri Lanka Julie Chung on Wednesday said that Sri Lanka is on track to achieving its National Mine Action Plan, aiming to be mine-free by 2030, due to the collaborative efforts of both the Sri Lankan and United States governments.
She noted that more than 200 square kilometers of land have been rendered safe and returned to local communities, with around 25 square kilometers still requiring clearance.
