Srilanka, Feb. 20 -- The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) recently held discussions with local exercise book manufacturers, including Atlas, Richard, Nalaka, Akura, Weerodara, SPC, and Dumindu, to ensure the release of high-quality exercise books at reasonable prices.
The meetings, held on January 17 and February 19, focused on how changes in electricity bills, exchange rates, and fuel prices could reduce production costs and benefit consumers.
The CAA is also conducting market raids and investigations, alongside regular talks with relevant manufacturers, to ensure consumers benefit from lower production costs.
