Sri Lanka, April 5 -- The Committee on High Posts which met recently in the Parliament has given its approval for the appointment of four new ambassadors, two ministry secretaries and two chairpersons of institutions.
Accordingly, the Committee on High Posts has approved the appointments of W.A.U.P. Prerera as the new Sri Lankan Ambassador to Vietnam and T.P. Dharmasena as the new Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Poland. Also, the appointments of E.A.S.W. Edirisinghe as the new Sri Lankan Ambassador to Thailand, and P.A.P Ponnamperuma as the new Sri Lankan Ambassador to Myanmar were also approved by the Committee on High Posts.
