Sri Lanka, Nov. 11 -- For the first time in its history, the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) All Share Price Index (ASPI) crossed the 23,500-point mark yesterday (10).

At around 9:40 a.m., the ASPI recorded 23,563 points, marking a historic milestone for Sri Lanka's stock market. By the close of trading, the index stood at 23,502.59 points.

The total turnover for the day reached Rs. 7.5 billion, reflecting strong investor activity and market confidence.
