Sri Lanka, June 6 -- A progress review meeting on projects implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation under the financial allocations of the current Budget was held today (6) at the Presidential Secretariat, under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

The discussion focused extensively on various irrigation-related initiatives, including the Yan Oya, Gal Oya and Mahaweli projects, as well as the rehabilitation of minor reservoirs.

During the meeting, President Dissanayake instructed officials to conduct close assessments of all projects being implemented under the current Budget and to ensure their prompt completion without delay.
