Sri Lanka, April 4 -- Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) Director General Ranga Dissanayake said that they are in possession of nearly 4,000 files of completed investigations, regarding which legal action has yet to be initiated.
The Director General of the CIABOC said yesterday (3) that the investigations have been completed with a workforce of only 31 law enforcement officers.
In response to recent public comments that are being made on political revenge by certain politicians, the Director General further urged politicians to read through the laws before making such statements.
