Sri Lanka, Dec. 30 -- The Chinese Embassy in Colombo has announced that China will provide relief supplies worth one million yuan to support the people of Sri Lanka.

According to an official note issued by the embassy, the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) is coordinating the provision of these relief supplies to assist Sri Lanka.
