Sri Lanka, Nov. 22 -- Chinese Ambassador delivered a detailed address outlining China's newly adopted 15th Five-Year Plan, highlighting the country's long-term development vision and its commitment to deeper global cooperation, including stronger ties with Sri Lanka.

The Ambassador said the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee had concluded with the approval of recommendations that will guide China's economic and social development over the next five years.

He noted that China's Five-Year Plan model, implemented since 1953, has transformed the country from an impoverished nation to a major global economic power contributing nearly 30% to global growth.
