Sri Lanka, Nov. 28 -- Sri Lanka's amateur champion Chanaka Perera produced one of the most disciplined scoring patterns of the entire tournament, finishing all three rounds within a tight range of 75-77, to claim 28th place at the Saujana Amateur Championship 2025, which ended yesterday at the Palm Course of the Saujana Golf and Country Club in Malaysia.

Perera of Sitrek Group closed the final round with a five-over-par 77, adding to his earlier identical rounds of three-over-par 75. His total of 11-over-par 227 was a solid effort in a highly competitive field of 100 international amateurs, battling on a Palm Course known for its narrow

fairways, firm greens, and heavy rough.
