Sri Lanka, Aug. 5 -- Chamara Dharmawardena and Navodha Kalpani Jayaweera both from Central Province came to the fore when they were adjudged most outstanding Judo players in the National Sports Festival held at Royal College Indoor Stadium over the week end . Central Province dominated the Judo by clinching gold medals of the all men's weight categories (6) and four women's weight categories to emerge overall champions.

Chamara Dharmawardena the Olympian who is the most experienced Judo player having more International experience came to the front winning the Under 73 kg category while Navodha Jayaweera won the under 567 kg women's category to win the major Judo awards.
