Sri Lanka, Sept. 17 -- The construction of six oil storage tanks at the Kolonnawa Oil Storage Complex, valued at Rs. 3.7 billion, will be inaugurated today (17) under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
Speaking at a media briefing at Kolonnawa yesterday (16), Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) Chairman D. J. Rajakaruna announced that the corporation had recorded a profit of Rs. 18.2 billion during the first half of the year. From this profit, Rs. 500 crore is expected to be contributed to the government.
