Sri Lanka, Sept. 27 -- The Environment Ministry announced that the Central Environmental Authority (CEA) has launched all its client payments through the GovPay system, effective from yesterday.

In a press release, the Ministry stated that clients of the CEA can now make any payment through the digital platform. This shift is expected to provide CEA clients with a more efficient and transparent service.

The move aligns with the Government's digital state policy, which aims to integrate information technology into the operations of many state institutions. The GovPay payment facility was introduced this year as a step toward digitising public services.
