Sri Lanka, Feb. 28 -- A confidential report has been submitted to the court by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD), investigating the murder of Ganemulla Sanjeewa, a notorious organized criminal.

The report was handed over to Colombo Chief Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali's office, prompting the court to issue several orders to the police based on its findings. As part of the investigation, officers are set to record statements from inmates at the Boossa Prison.

Ganemulla Sanjeewa was shot and killed on the morning of February 19th while a case was being heard at the Aluthkade Court Complex. The CCD is continuing its investigation, and 10 suspects are currently in custody.
