Sri Lanka, March 22 -- The case filed against former Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Kulasiri Udugampola, for allegedly revealing confidential information regarding Army intelligence personnel, was yesterday fixed for further trial on April 24 by the Colombo High Court. The case was taken up before Colombo HC Judge Adithya Patabendige.

The former ASP had raided a safe house used by Army intelligence personnel at Athurugiriya Millennium City housing scheme on January 2, 2002 and publicized information regarding Army officials and their covert operations.

Accordingly, the Attorney General had filed an indictment against the former ASP for violating the Official Secrets Act.
