Srilanka, March 28 -- Former Sri Lankan Ambassador to Palestine Fawzan Anwer yesterday urged all mosques in the country to hold Dua prayers today (28) to coincide with the International Al-Quds day for peace in Palestine and to show support for the Palestinian struggle.
The global event is observed every year to show support for Palestinians.
Al-Quds is observed every year on the last Friday of the fasting month of Ramadan. This commemoration aims primarily to support Palestinians in their struggle.
