Sri Lanka, Dec. 10 -- Colombo High Court Judge Mohamed Mihal today (10) ordered the acquittal and release of four defendants, including former Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal, after the Bribery Commission withdrew the charges against them in the case related to the Greek bond scandal.

The case originally accused the defendants of causing a loss of over Rs. 184 million to the government by purchasing Greek government treasury bills during the country's 2011 economic crisis.
