Srilanka, Feb. 20 -- The Cabinet has approved the submission of the Import and Export (Control) Regulations under the Import and Export (Control) Act to Parliament for approval. This includes regulations on the phased removal of the temporary suspension on motor vehicle imports.
The proposal, presented by the President in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development, seeks parliamentary approval for the regulations published in the Extraordinary Gazettes under the Import and Export (Control) Act, No. 1 of 1969.
