Sri Lanka, Nov. 18 -- The Cabinet meeting held on 22-07-2024 has approved the selection of a suitable investor to implement the Ranminitenna National Telecine Park under the DBFOM (Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Maintain) model.

Similarly, the Officers' Committee chaired by the Prime Minister's Secretary for the Review of Government-Owned Non-Commercial Institutions has also recommended inviting expressions of interest from local and foreign investors to implement the said cinema park under a suitable commercial model to increase its utility and revenue.
