Sri Lanka, Nov. 19 -- The Cabinet of Ministers on Monday (17) approved the proposal to publish the Draft Bill, prepared to repeal the Parliamentary Pensions Act No.1 of 1971, in the Government Gazette, and subsequently present it to Parliament for approval, Cabinet Spokesman and Minister of Health and Mass Media Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa announced.

He stated that the Draft Bill, prepared by the Legal Draftsman, has received clearance from the Attorney General, along with Cabinet approval for publication and submission to Parliament.
