Srilanka, April 23 -- Speaking at the Cabinet Decisions Media Conference held at the Government Information Department on yesterday (22), Cabinet Spokesperson and Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, announced that the government is exploring the introduction of a boat service utilizing Sri Lanka's coastal and inland waterways.

He stated that the initiative aims to establish marine passenger transport routes such as Puttalam-Fort, Fort-Galle, and Galle-Matara, while also developing the necessary infrastructure to support both public transportation and tourism.
