Sri Lanka, Jan. 13 -- The Cabinet has decided to postpone the implementation of the Grade 6 English module, which was initially scheduled to begin this year, and reintroduce it in 2027 as part of the ongoing education reform process.

The minister said the decision comes following discussions held by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake with educational professionals, specialists, and university lecturers related to the field.
