Srilanka, March 25 -- The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has launched a special raid and investigation program ahead of the upcoming festive season, with operations running until April 25.

Starting today, officials will inspect major wholesale stores and warehouses to prevent the sale of expired goods and products with altered information, ensuring consumer protection. Increased focus will also be placed on supermarkets, retail stores, mobile vendors, and high-demand product outlets, including those selling clothing, durable goods, and electrical appliances.
