Srilanka, May 15 -- "If stringent laws and regulations are implemented, bus accidents could be completely prevented," Presidential task Force on Road Safety and Life Safety Convener Dr. Sanjaya Perera said.

Commenting on the recent bus accident at Ramboda in Kotmale Dr. Perera said the majority of our buses are suitable for lorries but not for passenger transportation.

He said there is a centre of gravity (CG) in every vehicle including buses and the CG is the average location of all the weight of an object. It is also the balance point of an object.
