Srilanka, Feb. 25 -- The second reading of the inaugural budget of the current government was held this afternoon (25) and accordingly, 155 votes were cast in favor of the budget and 46 votes were cast against it.

No member abstained from voting.

Following the vote, the Speaker informed the House that the second reading of the budget was passed with a majority of 109 votes.
