Sri Lanka, Dec. 15 -- Following Cyclone Ditwah, ground frost was reported in the Bogawantalawa area during the early morning hours of today (15), as extremely cold weather continues across the western slopes of the central hills.

Local residents noted that the frost had settled on grassy areas, highlighting the intensity of the chilly conditions in the region.

Meteorologists have confirmed that the cold snap is a continuation of the weather patterns following the cyclone.
