Sri Lanka, Feb. 27 -- Minister of Labour and Foreign Employment, Manusha Nanayakkara, reiterated that securing employment in Israel does not require paying money to third parties, and encouraged individuals to report any requests for payment, to the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment. These job openings are the result of an agreement between the Governments of Sri Lanka and Israel.

The Minister made these remarks during a ceremony held at the Ministry yesterday (26) to present air tickets to 39 Agriculture workers and 32 home-based Caregivers departing for employment in Israel.

To date, 642 persons have been selected for jobs in the Agriculture sector. Additionally, 108 groups have departed as home-based Caregivers, with 268 leaving...
