Sri Lanka, March 19 -- Janith Liyanage's maiden century was in vain as Bangladesh recorded 4 wicket win with 58 balls to spare against Sri Lanka and clinched the ODI series 2-1 in the third and final ODI fixture played at Chgattogram, Bangladesh yesterday.

The day game dominated by Bangladesh team as they restricted Sri Lanka to 235 all out in 50 overs and Bangladesh reached their target in 40.2 overs with 4 wickets in hand. Kusal Mendis won the toss for third consecutive time at this day game but Sri Lankan batsmen couldn't get that advantage and all rounder Janith Liyanage had to play lone innings to complete his maiden century but Sri Lanka top order batters were unable to make good contributions to build up challenging total.
