Sri Lanka, April 3 -- In order to impart a comprehensive knowledge to traders in the Akkaraipattu Municipal Council area in their genuine business activities ensuring consumers' rights, their self-respect and dignity, an awareness programme was conducted by the Consumer Affairs Authority of Ampara District Kachcheri at Hallaj Information Resource Centre of the Municipal Council recently.

The programme presided over by the Municipal Council Commissioner N.M. Nowfees was attended by traders engaged in all kinds of business activities in the Akkaraipattu Municipality area.
