Sri Lanka, Aug. 18 -- The Annual General Meeting and Election of the Sri Lanka Athletics scheduled to be held today has been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances.

Accordingly as per the statement issued by the Director General of Sports regarding SLA elections they have plan to give new dates for the elections. One Secretary candidate Dr. Dhammika Senanayake had an objection against him earlier but he was cleared to contest by the Election Appeal Consultant committee. He will contest with Shehen Ambepitiya and Madawa Bandra Senarath for the Secretary post .
