Sri Lanka, Oct. 7 -- Sri Lanka's ace driver Ashan Silva gave the home crowd plenty to cheer about when he powered his way to the gold medal in the Cross Car Autocross, helping Sri Lanka finish overall second at the Asia Pacific Motorsport Championship (APMC) 2025, held at the SpeedBay Circuit in Bandaragama recently.
The three-day championship drew 210 competitors from 18 nations, showcasing top regional talent across karting, autocross, eSports, and gymkhana events. The Philippines emerged as the overall champions, while Sri Lanka finished second and Hong Kong, China, took third place.
