Srilanka, Feb. 17 -- The Sri Lanka Army has ordered all members below the rank of Major to handover their passports to their respective regiments.
This measure has been taken in relation to administrative activities, Army Media Spokesman Brigadier Waruna Gamage said.
He further explained, "Often, those below the rank of Major have overseas training opportunities.
During such times, gathering individual passports can be time-consuming, as many officers reside far from their assigned camps.
For such overseas training, there is a specific submission period we must adhere to. If one officer is delayed in submitting their passport,
