Sri Lanka, Oct. 31 -- Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo, Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, lauded Army athletes for their outstanding performances at the 4th South Asian Senior Athletics Championship 2025 in Ranchi, India, during a ceremony held on 30 October at the Army Headquarters.
A total of 59 Sri Lankan athletes participated in the championship, including 30 from the Sri Lanka Army. Their efforts helped Sri Lanka secure 12 gold, 8 silver, and 7 bronze medals, bringing the nation's total to 27 medals.
