Sri Lanka, Sept. 9 -- The Association of Private Hospitals and Nursing Homes of Sri Lanka (APHNH), the recognized representative body of the nation's private healthcare sector, successfully hosted its first-ever national gathering recently, under the theme "Beyond Competition - Future Through Partnerships" with the participation of over 150 representatives from private hospitals across the country at the Water's Edge.

Welcoming the participants, Raveen Wickramasinghe, President of APHNH, emphasized the pivotal role played by the private health sector, which provides 55% of outpatient care and 5% of inpatient care in Sri Lanka.
