Srilanka, Feb. 20 -- Two suspects wanted by Sri Lankan authorities in connection with various serious crimes, including shootings, murders, and money laundering, were arrested in Chennai, India, with the assistance of Interpol. They were brought to Sri Lanka this morning (20).

The suspects, identified as Ratnayake Weerakoon Aroshana Madhusankha, a 38-year-old from Hambantota, and Eranga Pushpakumara Hettiarachchi, a 37-year-old from Moratuwa, were apprehended at Katunayake Airport by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). They were then handed over to the Matara Divisional Criminal Investigation Division for further investigation.
