Sri Lanka, Jan. 29 -- Ahlissunnathi was successfully held on Sunday, 18th January 2026, at Acropol Restaurant, Colombo 03, followed by the launch of the book "Light of the Faith: A Series of Ahlu-Sunnah Lectures (in Tamil)", compiled by the association.

The publication was compiled for islandwide distribution to Madrasas, with the aim of strengthening the teachings of Ahlu-Sunnah Wal Jamaath.

The book was reviewed by Moulavi M. M. Ahmedshah (Jamali)(Fayazi), Khalifatthul Qadiri Chishti and Chief Imam of Maradana Mosque Inc., Colombo 10.
