Srilanka, May 28 -- The state Poson festival will be celebrated at Mihintale, Anuradhapura Atamasthana and Thanthirimale. President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is expected to participate in the inauguration of the national Poson celebrations to be initiated at Mihintale on June 9. Poson Poya falls on June 10.

Anuradhapura Government Agent Ranjith Wimalasooriya, the head of the national Poson celebrations committee, said that more than 2 million devotees are expected in Anuradhapura, Mihintale and Thanthirimale.
