Sri Lanka, Sept. 18 -- Sri Lanka's top-ranked junior golfer Reshan Algama produced a brilliant fightback with a superb gross score of 70 to grab the lead at the end of the second round of the Kandy Regional Junior Open Golf Championship at the Victoria Golf Resort in Digana, Kandy yesterday.
Algama, representing Royal Colombo Golf Club, carded the best score of the day. His two-round total of 143 strokes placed him just one shot ahead of day one leader Jevahn Sathasivam, who slipped after returning a 73 yesterday. The pair are now separated by only one stroke going into today's decisive final round.
