Srilanka, April 18 -- The Sri Lanka Air Force women's weightlifting team secured the Overall Women's Title at the National Weightlifting Championship, organised by the Sri Lanka Weightlifting Federation and held recently at the Gallella Sports Complex in Polonnaruwa.
The Air Force women achieved this milestone with an impressive tally of five gold medals and three silver medals in this event. Meanwhile, the Air Force men's weightlifting team also demonstrated commendable performance, winning two gold medals, two silver medals, and five bronze medals, thereby securing the Runner-Up position in the championship.
