Sri Lanka, Sept. 16 -- Tourism officials yesterday said that reopening of airports will not be stretched to April and these were rumours.

Tourism Ministry spokesman Pradeep Anura Kumara said there was no truth that airports were opening in April next year. He said the ministry believes that it won't take that long to reopen both airports."Even though a date hasn't been finalised for reopening of airports, it surely won't take next year to open,"he said.
