Srilanka, Feb. 13 -- The Legal Officer's Association of the Attorney General's Department yesterday said that while expressing concerns over the recent statements in the media related to the Attorney General's advice dated January 28, yesterday said that Department's procedures and practices have been strictly complied with in the matters relating to the said advice.

The Association in a statement issued under the hand of its Acting Secretary Tashya Gajanayake said the relevant officers concerned had considered all the material facts and the law and had duly made their recommendations to discharge the three suspects who were the subject matter of the said advice.
