Sri Lanka, March 20 -- Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) is planning to give more match exposure for Sri Lanka 'A' team when they conduct Afghanistan 'A' cricket series from April 28 at two venues Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium Hambantota and P. Sara Oval Stadium in Colombo.

Five ODI matches will be played on April 28, 30 and May 3,5,7 at Hambantota while the only four day game between Sri Lanka 'A' and Afghanistan 'A' will be held from May 11-14 at P. Sara Oval Stadium Colombo.

This is good opportunity for Sri Lanka A team and few National players are included for both A teams and the selectors want to make good second string team to produce back up players for the National team, said a senior official of SLC.
