Sri Lanka, Sept. 8 -- Russian carrier Aeroflot has announced the resumption of its direct Moscow-Colombo thrice-weekly (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) flights from October.

Boeing 777 widebody aircraft will serve this route, offering a three-class setup with a focus on passenger comfort and high-quality service. Bookings are already open.

This move expands Aeroflot's already impressive winter holiday programme, which includes not only flights to Mahe, Seychelles and Colombo, but also regular connections to Goa, India, from Moscow and Yekaterinburg, along with new services from Novosibirsk to India.
