Srilanka, Feb. 14 -- Adani Green Energy of India belonging to the Adani Group has conveyed its decision to withdraw from a planned US$ 1 billion wind power plants project in Sri Lanka.
Adani Green Energy's proposed Renewable Wind Farms and Transmission Lines project in Sri Lanka was to establish 484 MW Renewable Energy Wind Farms at Mannar and Pooneryn along with its associated Transmission system with additional 220 KV and 400 KV Transmission network expansions to carry electrons to consumptive centers in the Southern part of the country.
