Sri Lanka, Oct. 16 -- Ace Capital Cricket Club will make their debut in the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) organised Premier League Tier 'B' Inter-Club Tournament which is set to get underway later this year.

The club was of course, formed as the Seeduwa/Raddoluwa Cricket Club in 1989 and was later, renamed as Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) Cricket Club.

In 2011, there was an agreement that if the SLPA withdraws from the cricket club, the club would be then handed over to its former staff.

Accordingly, this year the SLPA administration transferred the cricket club back to its former staff and subsequently the club was renamed as Ace Capital Cricket Club.
