Sri Lanka, March 15 -- Misunderstandings about sexual relations between married couples are the root cause of 99 percent of domestic conflicts in Sri Lanka, according to Attorney E.N.B. Mallawa. He attributed this to the absence of a proper system of sexual education in the country.
Mallawa made these remarks at an event held in Kandy organised by the Kandy office of the Legal Aid Commission to mark International Women's Day.
He explained that the lack of comprehensive sexual education has contributed to a rise in divorce and maintenance cases.
